Foshan Highest Traditional Kung Fu Award
'The Wing Chun System'

It is a normal tradition in Foshan that Master-student relationship is based on character as well as martial prowess.

Although a practitioner may achieve high level of combat, it is the able and responsible practitioner that is selected to pass on the knowledge of the Wing Chun art. Therefore, only 16 students of Grandmaster Yui Kil's have acquired the whole system.

Grandmaster Yui Kil accepted Master Wai-Po Tang as his last research student in 1987. The following year after Master Tang's tour of the Far East, Grandmaster Yui Kil awarded Master Wai-Po Tang the 'Wing Chun System award', also historical award, development and others.

Some of these awards are hung in Master Tang's residence. Some are displayed in Eskilstuna, Sweden.
