Sweden MAI recognition for Outstanding Athletes

Early March 2002, 62 athletes invited to the city hall, Eskilstuna, Sweden for an award ceremony. The athletes include all sports, and the City Council invited 5 members of the Martial Art Institute for their outstanding performance at the National Championship last year.

The M.A.I Wing Chun students Jens Axdorph, Anders Asp, Claes Oliveskog, Fredrik Eliasson and Henrik Munkteliusto were awarded with a medal each.

There was about 180 people at this prestigeous event including the local press, coaches and politicians. The presentation was followed by a banquet, and the MAI students were proud and celebrated through the night.
