"The
BBC auditioned over 400 artists for the new TV Series 'Masters
of Combat"
Masters
of Combat was scheduled on prime time 6.45pm on BBC2 on September
2001. The programme aimed at young audience (8-18), and it was an
immediate success with over 3 million viewers in the first 2 episodes.
During
the making of Masters of Combat, Master Tang had to rehearse for
a month at the famous 'Peacock' boxing gym in East London. There
he met martial artists and fighters from almost every discipline.
It reminded Master Tang of the Thailand boxing camp he lived in
back in 1988.
Master
Tang was featured in every episode of the TV series, and his stage
name was 'SAT-SAU' means deadly hand.
