"Six medals for M.A.I. Fighters, and two selected for the Sweden National Team."

Eskilstuna MAI Fighters

Once a year the Martial Art Institute enters the Sweden National Wu Shu San Soo Championships. The competition is full contact, and throws and grappling are permitted. The rules are same as the international San Soo rules.

Eight MAI fighters entered and three won silver and three won bronze medals. Hans from Gothen borg MAI was totally robbed of his first elimination fight. He fought the reigning champion beating him easily but the judges gave the decision to the other fighter.

However, the fights were very close between the finalists. Two of the MAI fighters, Bjarne Larsson and a fighter from Eskilstuna MAI were selected for the Sweden National team.
